afb invites you to the 5th afb Market and Innovation Event 2018 with the topic "Roadmap for the Networked Ecosystem"

For the 5th time in a row, afb is inviting specialists and managers to the afb Market and Innovation Event. Register now, places are limited.

Munich, 19 March 2018 – Ecosystems and Platform Economy are the topics of the 5th afb Market and Innovation Event, which will be held on 17 May 2018 in Munich. At this annual event, afb Application Services AG (afb), innovation and transformation partner for digital processes, expects more than 100 interested specialists and executives from financial and other service providers, manufacturers and retailers.

‚We all encounter platform economics in the form of Google, Facebook, Amazon and, last but not least, Uber. The consultancy company McKinsey believes that by 2025 – just a few years down the road – around one third of total economic output worldwide will be generated in Ecosystems. Thus Ecosystems are gaining importance for practically all companies. The impact of this development on the architecture of business models is the theme of this year's event,‘ says Gerolf Dienhold, CEO of afb.

In his keynote address, the scientist Prof. Dr. Elgar Fleisch, professor at the University of St.Gallen and the ETH Zurich, provides answers to the question of what the Internet of Things does to us and our economy. Other speakers deal with the necessary change management in the digitisation of traditional business, agile business process modelling, opportunities from the use of artificial intelligence and future visions with regard to blockchain technology. The participants receive valuable impulses based on best practices and current innovations. Interactive sessions allow them to benefit from the exchange with like-minded people.

‚At the afb Market and Innovation Event, we will again show what we mean by 'from mind to market'. Networked ecosystems need a change in business models and adjustments to existing IT solutions. That's why business and IT architectures need to be rethought. On 17 May, in Munich, decision-makers can find out what industry experts recommend and how our solutions enable the necessary change in order to be successful in competition and with customers,‘ explains Philipp Oberleitner, Sales Manager at afb.

All information regarding the program of the afb Market and Innovation Event 2018 and the registration requirements can be found at www.afb.de/mie2018. Participation is free, but the available places are very limited. We therefore advise you to make your reservation as early as possible.
