abcfinance faced the following challenge in 2003: outdated software for quotations, contract management and financial accounting that no longer met the requirements of the financial services provider and was based on Unix. At the same time, the service processes were no longer at the required level. The requirements for the IT system house were correspondingly extensive. What was needed was a fully integrated solution that combined the quotation system, the POS (point of sale) for partners and agents, contract management, financial accounting and accounting in a single system. The new platform also needed to be flexible and expandable in order to connect external systems, such as the in-house banking system and the document management system, as well as to enable the integration of new companies and a rapid response to new market requirements. NAVAX provided both the technological tools and the necessary know-how.
